It’s important that we have this information before the Path to Schoolwide training, so we can better assist you when you arrive.
Changing Community of Practice Sections
My colleague and I are in the same Community of Practice but in different rooms. Can I move sections so that we can be together?
While AVID understands the desire to attend Communities of Practice with colleagues, there are several reasons we do not move participants between sections of the same Community of Practice.
- Attending different Community of Practice sections provides the opportunity to share a variety of experiences and perspectives with your Site Team.
- Community of Practice sections are automatically assigned based on space availability, which can be limited by a variety of factors.
- Materials are distributed to each room based on the Community of Practice size prior to the first day of the Path to Schoolwide training.
