At AVID, we believe it is vital for schools to evaluate systems to identify areas where opportunity gaps exist. High expectations begin by changing what educators and students believe is possible.

AVID helps educators develop a common understanding of equity by examining current systems, identifying barriers, and generating possible solutions or strategies. When considerations around equity are made schoolwide, obstacles are removed so that all students and educators are empowered to reach their full potential.
