Navigating Change Together 

This change comes in response to the difficult decision made by Victoria University to discontinue financial and program support for AVID Australia in 2024. Recognizing the urgent need for support from the schools and students affected, our Board of Directors has chosen to extend AVID Center (US) services to Australia. This involves taking direct support from Victoria University, enhancing program offerings, and actively deepening AVID’s presence in the region.

Our Shared Mission Continues 

Our unwavering commitment to closing opportunity gaps remains steadfast. We acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable work carried out by the AVID Australia community. We extend our deep appreciation to Victoria University for their pivotal role in establishing and nurturing AVID Australia, considering them valued allies in our shared mission.
