Kyle Hatfield joined AVID Center in 2015 and is currently the IT Director, leading the IT and cybersecurity efforts for the organization. Before joining AVID, Kyle spent over a decade working for the Kent School District in Washington, starting in high school as a webmaster and working his way to lead architect and manager of the district’s infrastructure teams, which supported 40+ schools, 20,000+ devices, and 30,000+ users.

His career has been focused on K–12, with a passion for education and a belief that a more educated society is a better society.

Kyle received a Bachelor of Science in IT Management with a focus in Network Administration from Central Washington University and a Master of Cybersecurity and Leadership from the University of Washington.
